This trip is for partners interested in family courses

York, what can one say? "The history of York is the history of England" is how George IV put it.

York is now the pre-eminent tourist city of the North and one of the leading tourist destinations in Europe. The Romans, Saxons, Vikings and Normans were all here and all left their mark. The city is home to the largest Medieval Gothic Cathedral in Northern Europe and a series of world beating museums and attractions.

Modern York is a must-visit City for domestic and foreign tourists and regularly voted as one of the best places to live in the UK! York is safe, traffic free and visitor focussed making it the ideal choice for juniors and families.

York has been a centre of learning for millennia and is home to the oldest school in the country and two excellent universities.

Melton College has put family courses at the forefront of what we do and, by blending our Gold Course (for adults aged 40+) and Junior Courses (for kids aged 8~19), we can give both an unforgettable language holiday!

And we are not just a Language School. Next door we have Melton Guest House, a boutique hotel, adapted and developed to welcome families! This will be our base for what we hope will be an inspirational three-day visit!

The trip has just 12 spaces. Unusually for a fam trip, we welcome partners (or colleague prepared to share a room). The trip is really focussed on those looking for family courses and those doing so will get priority. We will, if space permits, also welcome potential partners looking to send individual juniors and 40+ participants.
